DIVISION TEACHER HOURLY RATE SCHEDULE

2006-2007 School Year

A teacher must apply in writing to the Division of Adult and Career Education Salary Allocation Unit, work 734 hours and complete 30 hours of verifiable staff development in one or two consecutive school years to advance to the next step.

• Step increases become effective on July 1st of each year.
• Teachers employed in DACE prior to July 1, 2001, who substitute, will be paid at a rate equivalent to Step 1 (Flat Rate).
• Teachers employed in DACE on/or after July 1, 2001, who substitute, will be paid at a rate equivalent to Step A (Flat Rate).

       *To be eligible for step 4, a teacher must work 734 hours in each of ten consecutive years after attaining step 3.
