Adult Education
Parent Engagement (GED) Program The Division’s GED Preparation Program is designed specifically for parents whose children attend High Priority Schools. This program assesses parents’ educational needs, provides them with the skills they need to pass the GED, and if they desire, enrolls them in an adult high school program or career training. GED Preparation Programs are provided to parents at High Priority Schools or other locations convenient to parents. Classes in English as a Second Language (ESL), Adult Basic Education (ABE) Reading, Language Arts and Math, and GED Preparation all focus on skills needed to successfully pass the GED. Click here for Guideline No. 48 about the Parent Engagement (GED) Program. Updated 1/6/2009
